Our international Client is looking for Specialist ready to join his team, an Engineer or confident graduate with mechanical engineering background (preferably in railway) who is willing to learn railway operation and become familiar with various types of rolling stock and associated componentry.

Essential skills are:
good understanding of mechanical drawings ( some knowledge of AutoCAD or Solid Works is beneficial) good knowledge of data gathering (understanding mechanical measurement methods, manufacturing tolerances, wear of mechanical components and methods of assessment thereof) good understanding data processing using statistical methods sound knowledge in IT technologies (understanding of computer networks, Data Bases, data access methods, able to change ini files for existing programs and being able to support the operational systems with the various version of hardware - so being able to learn new things when they are implemented etc.)
Main duties and responsibilities:
Methodically check all the operational systems and review their performance (that could be supplemented by coordinating with the person who is doing that currently) Learning how to setup the various analysis software and if there are any unexpected changes understand how to modify the ini and setup files to be able to make the system reporting as much as it technically possible Check the data of various module and see if there is any striking anomalies that show that the system needs to address (and implement the changes in setup if possible) Review the wear or problems with components and analyze from “Clients point of view” and make recommendations – so ability to communicate that via email as soon as possible is important – very good and simple and precise English is required Should be prepared to be trained to be able to carry out the task as necessary expectations Dedicated and working with minimal supervision and be prepared to work on his own ensuring that the work is done on very regular basis
