Currently, for our customer, we are looking for:
Senior Process Engineer
Place of work: Quatar
PEQ/10/MXK
The role purpose is to support the client in all aspects from conceptual design, through detailed engineering with a goal to provide long-term performance improvements.
Core Accountabilities:
Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility Conducting detailed engineering studies that includes equipment design for columns, drums, pumps and heat exchanges Preparations of PFD, P&lDs and MSD Preparation of instrument datasheets Preparation of safety relief valve Conducting Hydraulic calculations Attending to HAZOP meetings
Qualifications:
Tert iary/technical qualifications in chemical engineering discipline are essential Knowledge of Engineering design codes, specifications and latest design engineering and analytical techniques and software (HYSYS or Pro ll) is essential Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices, international standards and codes
Experience & Technical Competencies:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate broad experience in Oil & Gas Brownfield and Greenfield facilities, preferably with EPCM contractors Middle East experience on similar projects would be an advantage Demonstrated success in past project involvement and technical delivery of small to medium size projects Proven ability to influence and mentor others in safety principles and behaviors Demonstrated high order interpersonal skills and the ability to operate within a multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others with regard to continuous improvement A high level of computer literacy Fluent English
