Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:
Taking part in complex mechanical engineering projects including feasibility studies on scientific instruments, mechanical design studies using computer assisted tools, conceptual mechanical analysis including finite element analysis Production of detailed mechanical drawings Designs for mechanical devices by conducting research and testing Supervising the functioning and maintenance of mechanical equipment, and making sure they meet specifications Creates models for alternate designs of mechanical devices to support modification recommendations Helping professionals create structural designs for products by using drafting equipment and computer-assisted design/drafting software. Working as a team member in creating new methods and theories to provide better and more effective products
Requirements:
2-5 years commercial experience in a similar role Higher degree in mechanical engineering or similar discipline Good knowledge of English Knowledge of AutoCad, Solid Works or other software (Stardayne, Femap, Nastran, Ansys etc.) to produce 3D drawings Knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) and ability to perform mechanical engineering static and dynamic calculations, including finite element analysis Ability to perform professional engineering tasks and an ability to quickly understand scientific requirements Willing and positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed Ambition and self-growth orientation

Nice to have:
Knowledge of International AAR Technical Standards (Association of American Railroads) Theoretical knowledge or a previous experience in the field of rail and road vehicle
