Responsibilities:
Support MOL (Maintenance On-Line) activities across Eastern EuropeEMS / ODM Manufacturing Operations inclusive of Manufacturing (assembly/test), materials, capacity, ECN / NPI and maintenance of both existing and new ProductsDaily liaison with Product Development, Order Fulfilment, Product Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Planning and Repair CentresProvide full factory support for all product issues, minimising line stops and driving for improved product manufacturing performanceSupport product through introduction to volume manufacture including prototype builds, component selection and application to existing PCB process capability and continuous yield improvementEliminate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) issues on legacy new product SMT / PCB designsBOM Management and Monitoring; Exploring solutions related to EPP/ ECN parts; Process Changes and Improvements at EMS Product LineSupplier Line Feedback into MCAR + Supplier x + Problem Root-cause and Closure. Participate in CTE Audit/ Site Visits for new EMSProvide production support for existing product out of control situations including material and process quality analysis. (SPC OOC)Co-ordinate and manage internal and external suppliers to achieve agreed plans and targets
Knowledge/Skills:
Languages: English mandatory, advantage Czech, SwedishDegree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalentMinimum 3 years working experience of electronic / electro-mechanical manufacturing processes in a medium to high volume environment, plus a min 2 years EMS experienceSMT Process Control, Manufacturing Time Study, SMT Machine Capability / Limitations, Lean ManufacturingStrong technical background and ability to link effect and cause of SMT problemsAnalytical and problem solving skillsExcellent communication skill with a positive attitude
